By interviewing Jennelle Whitney, the manager of the Wells Fargo bank in South Plainfield, it was obvious to see how the concepts in Operations Management related to the operations that take place at Wells Fargo.
Competitive priorities,
six sigma, process strategy, and operations planning and scheduling were all
concepts and topics in Operations Management that clearly related to the way
that Wells Fargo operates as a business. Aside from relating those concepts and
topics, recommendations were also made on certain points as a suggestion to
what Wells Fargo can possibly improve on.
Overall, it is perceived
that Wells Fargo is a prosperous and successful company. It was a pleasure to
work with Jennelle Whitney at the South Plainfield branch, while learning how the
concepts and topics in Operations Management relate to Wells Fargo.
